Hello everyone. This is Takayuki Kondo. A happy new year. Thank you for your continuous business with us.

I will write about our company year-end party held in last December. All the employees joined in the party and it was a special time for me. It was an opportunity where I can express my gratitude to all the employees. Our company year-end party is organized by one of in-house departments by rotation every year. A department in charge plans a party, looks for a venue, and manages the party on the day. I would like each of the employees to learn hospitality through organizing a party.

The production department was in charge of the party this year. They normally sweat over their work on site, but they thought of a great entertainment for the party, which was new and different experience for us.

Firstly, about their quizzes, they did a questionnaire to all the employees in advance of the party, and then they created quizzes by themselves. This made all the employees feel involved in the quiz.

Secondly, about the quiz contest, we made a team with the people sitting at the same table and answered to the quizzes through a touch panel device on the table. Then, our answers were displayed on a big screen which can be seen by everybody. It increased our interest because as if we were in a TV quiz show.

Lastly, about an entertainment during the final counting, one of the employees walked from table to table and performed magic tricks in order to keep everybody from being bored.

Furthermore, we received a nice feedback from the venue a few days later. They told us that they were impressed when they looked at tables where dishes were collected orderly by our employees after the party.

I learned importance of cleanup when I joined in a training program named Seinenjuku. Also, we would like to convey a mind of cleanup all over the world through car recycling. Therefore, it was a great pleasure to receive such a feedback. We will continue to make daily effort in order to receive such a feedback from all over the world.
