The 7th Kaiho Recycling festival on August 6th

Hello everyone. This is Takayuki Kondo. We held the 7th Kaiho Recycling festival on August 6th. We received more than 1,800 visitors this year. We had customer satisfaction as a target for this year’s festival instead of the number of visitors. We always served visitors with a smile going back to basics. As a result, we received better result of questionnaire compare to the last year.

We collaborated with universities this year as a new challenge. We collaborated with 24 students from 3 universities (Seiryo University, Hokuriku University, and Kanazawa Institute of Technology) and welcomed visitors. We also created new programs with them, such as quoits using scrap materials and quiz on the weight of tools that we use at work.

I hope it was a nice opportunity for the students to experience work. On the other hand, we received young energy and inspiration from them as some of the students were smiling wonderfully. I want to continue to value such relationship.

Just as last year, we received a lot of support from companies including companies from other prefectures.

We also held a dismantling seminar like we do at our work as a new challenge. We received a feedback from an audience that the question and answer session in the seminar was nice.

Through our recycling festival, we hope the visitors feel little familiar with recycling and the importance of it for the future.
