We held the 6th Kaiho Recycling festival on August 7, Sunday.
We received 1,877 people that kindly visited the festival despite of the very hot weather. Also, many companies kindly supported this festival. Thank you very much.
We tried to hold this festival with a new system this year. Leaders of each section have changed this year. The theme of the festival was “Back to Basics”.
We started to hold this festival with the objective to make everybody know about recycling and have interest about it.
I think re-using and using long time any goods is really important, especially in modern times. Moreover, thinking after using goods is also important.
I want to do awareness building activities in all around Japan. So that, 8 companies will hold the festival also.
Our main event in this festival is the “Car dismantling show” every year.
The number of visitors for the show was the largest ever.
I think everyone was excited to see the dynamic and complicated moving of a big crane machine.
The schedule of this festival was made with every staff’s idea. For example, we could teach about recycling by making handbags from the covers of headrests. We taught this as recycling classes for 4 times. Every class ´s duration was 30 minutes. Every class was crowded and children enjoyed the making. Children could learn very much about recycling thanks to this event.
We could finish all the other events safety and could find many precious thoughts for this festival from visitor survey. There are encomiums, demands and so on. We are sure that we will make a greater festival with those precious thoughts next year.
